This one was one of my favorite catches of the year. Jonah started musky fishing for the first time on this trip to Northern Wisconsin. Despite “tough” conditions, he casted hard and stayed confident all day. Although we lost a couple fish and had contact from a few others, we found ourselves empty handed late in the trip. On the last spot of the day, I watched Jonah’s rod tip thump and before words could come out of his mouth, I was in a race for the net. He did a great job staying calm through and awesome fight and before we knew it, he boated this beautiful 43.5” musky! 
Guiding people to their first or biggest musky has always been so rewarding but the circumstances of this fish made this one even more sweet.
